The masterpiece of the Cru Primo Fiore oil mill is a Riviera Ligure - Riviera dei Fiori Protected Designation of Origin oil, which is noted for its fragrant aroma and its fruity taste at the same time.

It comes from olives “Taggiasche”, grown in “Campagne Martine e Fascei” only, which are farms situated at about 500mt above sea level, where those very tasty “mountain”olives are produced.
Its production is limited to the availability of these fruits which, thanks to the speeding up of the harvest time before being fully ripened, have got a fragrant aroma, a fruity and sweet flavour, and a particular smell.

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is rich in natural antioxidants, naturally intense and lively, able to keep its fragrance and flavour for a long time. Its acidity is lower than 03% and available in 1 litre or 500 ml flaskets.

This Extra Virgin Olive Oil
It is to be remembered that researches and studies on it, carried out by numerous Universities and Research Centres all over the world, testify the beneficial properties of  the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and appoint it as the best condiment of all.

Its therapeutical value does not depend only on its particular chemical structure (54-83% monounsaturated, 3,5-22,5 polyunsatured fats and an unsaponifiable fraction) but above all on the techniques used to extract it from a fruit, which makes it the only oil obtained by using mechanical methods, without having recourse to any chemical solvent.

Others factors which concur to improve its quality characteristics are the variety of olives and their healthiness, the condition of soils, the climate, the ripening level, a fast pressing right after picking the olives and the methods of extraction at a low temperature: the so-called “cold-pressing”.
