Agrigelateria San Pé
Managed by Alfonso Burzio, his wife Antonietta and brotherin-law Gianni Crivelli, the first "agrigelateria" in Europe Demonstrates how it is possible to create "a world revolving around ice cream", which aims to be a meeting place between nature and the flavors of the past. San Pé is also a producer of milk and seasonal fruit-the essentials raw materials for making outstandind ice creams.
Additives and artificial coloring are out of the question, here only genuine, top quality ingredients are used: fresh cream for the fiordilatte, Langhe tonda Gentile for the hazelnut, Mombaruzzo amaretto. Sicilian pistachios, egg, milk and sugar for the plain flavor. Fruit varieties respect seasonal availabilty: apricot, blueberry and strawberry are home grown, untreated lemons from the Amalfi Coast and peppermint is from Pancalieri. In autumn additional products are on offer: if you do not feel like ice cream, you can indulge in Canestrelli cookies from Poirino, homemade cakes, zabaglione, hot chocolate or a bowl of milk.
