The origins of the “Falanghina” vine a still very uncertain. Today, it is a popular wine in the region of “Campania”, in the town of “Procida”, situated in the area of the “Campi Flegrei” and in the “Sannio”.
Its name comes from the latin word “phalange”, namely “tied at the pole”.
It is no doubt “the summer wine” par excellence, of a full pale yellow colour, it has the delicate fragrance of flowers, with some honey hints. Its taste is dry and fresh. If aged in a pure way it expresses its nature.
Colour: pale yellow.
Smell: fresh and fruity, with strong citrus notes, pineapple and white flowers.
Taste: it confirms its freshness thanks to the strong acidity which is perfectly balanced to the structure of the wine
