The Malvoisie Flétri is a wine with a great character. The best bunch of grapes of this particular clone of the Pinoto Gris are left to wither in aired and shady environments.
A forced and slow fermentation in small casks makes this wine one of the pearls of the Aosta Valley oenology. It is amber coloured with rosé hints, brilliant. The bouquet is very intense, persistent, with a clear alcoholic character.
Among its scents we recognise ripe fruits, like prunes, dried figs, sultana, which creates some complex smells. In the end the taste reminds of bitter almond, and it gives a pleasant bitter taste.
Great wine for meditation, it is excellent with “tegole”, typical sweets of the Aosta Valley.
