The Kamut is a very ancient cereal, cultivated in Mesopotamia and in Egypt more than 5000 years ago. After a long period of oblivion, it has been rediscovered and it is now reacquiring the place it deserves inside the actual nutrition.
It has a very big grain, from two to three times bigger than a grain’s one, and it is rich in proteins. Furthermore, it contains selenium that reduces the formation of free radicals, responsible for the development of cardio-vascular diseases.
